Using Clocktower
Clocktower is a personal time tracking app published by Kieksi Digital. By using the app you agree to these terms. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
Your content
The time you track and everything you create in the app is yours. The app stores it on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud account. We claim no ownership over it.
Privacy
Aside from the content you create, which stays on your device and your own iCloud, the app collects only anonymous, aggregate usage and crash measurements that cannot identify you and never include what you log. How we handle data is described in full in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Subscriptions and purchases
Some features require a paid upgrade. Clocktower offers a subscription with options including monthly and yearly terms, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions are auto-renewing. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Where Apple's standard subscription terms apply, they govern the purchase.
You can cancel at any time by turning off auto-renew in your App Store account settings, and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Purchases and any refunds are handled by Apple, so refund requests go through Apple under the App Store terms rather than through us. If a subscription price changes, Apple notifies you and, where required, asks for your consent before the new price takes effect. The lifetime purchase unlocks the current Pro features for as long as the app stays available on the App Store. If Clocktower is ever discontinued, you keep using the version you already have, but we cannot guarantee future updates, and features that depend on services outside our control may stop working.
Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, or use it to infringe the rights of others.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free. You are responsible for keeping your own records where accuracy matters.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss of data.
Changes
These terms may change. Updates will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
